I couldn’t agree more. I’ve used that method to generate an incredible amount of revenue — it’s by far my biggest income source.
Btw, I just started up a new website, and am just getting into the marketing aspect of it. I’d love to add a site-wide link to your website/blog/page in return for another. I’ll link anywhere you want. We can both benefit from this.
Of course, if you have another website, it might even make more sense for the links from both of us to be one-way so as to maximize impact.
