“I Suck” at Making Money Online

Do you suck at making money online? It doesn’t matter if you work at 9-5 job, run or manage your own business, or even a student of some sort, you along with everyone else in this world suck at a lot of things in life. Plain and simple and ok to laugh at. But if you suck at something, most of us, and for good reason, probably don’t do them. For example, I played college basketball, so I play it often, but I suck at tennis, so I hardly ever play it. The point I want to make is everyone knows what they suck at, but it isn’t about what you suck at, but rather what that you focus on what you are good at and could succeed in.

Making money online can be easy and there are literally thousands of ways to really make a comfortable income online using the internet, websites, home business opportunities, or affiliate marketing. One of the quickest ways to make money online I believe is through affiliate marketing. Another way to make money is through home based business opportunities, which can take a little longer time as you build up a team and residual income based on memberships and referrals. Just remember that there are literally millions of people making money online but thousands of different ways to do it.

So don’t worry, you’re not alone in the “I suck” at making money online department, don’t stress and beatmake money online yourself up to death trying to profit and succeed making money online. There are so many different paths to your “roadmap to riches”. As you dive into new marketing techniques and strategies, you will only cut down the learning curve from the last time and continue to gain and pick up knowledge that will educate and benefit you in the long run and ultimately make you better at this. Just remember that making money online isn’t an easy one way street. Don’t be afraid to explore and find small niches to help get you started and to try something different that all the top internet marketers or internet gurus are doing.

I think one of the best ways you can step up to the plate and beat this “I suck” at making money online attitude is by finding an affiliate program that brings in a decent amount of want and need and exploit it. Start small, end big. If you really are struggling to make money online, there is one program that I really recommend in Google Manipulator. I have written my honest review on this book and think that for anyone struggling and saying “I Suck” that this eBook is for you. It will teach you how to make money online with a very small budget as well as having an affiliate program that makes out 75% of what you sell!

Then once you start to profit with an affiliate program, now it is time to invest back into yourself and your online money making adventures. Join a home based business opportunity, one that can create lasting residual income. I recommend either Eniva or Waiora, two nutritional health companies that are low startup cost and very good marketing systems.

Take a moment and step back from your overall business model and ask yourself… where else can I be making money and what area am I sucking at?

Waiora Legitimate Work At Home Business

Looking for a legitimate work at home business has been compared to looking for a needle in a haystack. Now while I will admit that it can be a little time consuming finding that perfect business opportunity that meets all your personal needs and is indeed genuine, there are in fact many legitimate work at home businesses to choose from. You just have to know what to look for.

First off, what constitutes as a scam? A scam is when you are promised one thing and receive something different or nothing at all. Unfortunately, broken promises do not mean you have been scammed. If they company claims that you can make 500 dollars or more and you don’t but they provided you with the tools needed to do the job then they are still considered a legitimate work at home business.

The problem lies with people looking for jobs rather than a business. If it’s 9-5 security you’re looking for, then the Internet is the last place you should look. The only way working from home can offer security is if you’re on someone else’s payroll.

But the Internet is known for easy business set ups and the cold truth is that all businesses are gambles. You have be prepared to invest and you have to be prepared to take some loses.

That said some businesses are less of a gamble than others. These are what work at home agents deem as a legitimate work at home business. These businesses have the following qualities.

1) They layout what the business entails. Legitimate work at home businesses have clearly drawn out instructions of the tasks you will need to perform. Whether its selling a product or service, data entry, or proofing material, the company is clear about what you need to do to make money.

This is to ensure that they attract people who are interested in that type of work. Always find out what you will be doing and if in fact its something you’re qualified for or are willing to put the hours in to learn.

2) All credible businesses will provide you with at least 2 forms of contact. Look around for an email address, business address, phone number, anything you can use to get in touch with a real person. Keep in mind however, that while having multiple methods of contact is a good thing, having too many email addresses or phone numbers is a warning sign.

Scam artists will often provide people with false numbers or email address making the prospect have to go one a wild goose chase in order to find them. If the site has more than 3 different email addresses with different hosts continue your search for a legitimate work at home business.

3) Mentoring is another important requirement for a legitimate work at home job. And this is why being able to contact someone is so important. If you cant get in touch with a real person for help, the chances of succeeding are slim. Mentoring and assistance is essential for the success of your business. You need to be able to properly understand the work at home job if you are to be proficient in it. Resources such as forums, books, a personal mentor and email updates are usually provided by legitimate work at home companies.

4) Perhaps one of the best ways to judge if in fact the home based business is a good match for you is by personally researching the company. What are other people saying about it? How long has it been around, and what is its success rate? Generally, a legitimate work at home business has good reviews but don’t be taken away by this. Find out the good and the bad. Remember, no company is perfect and you want to find out if the pros outweigh the cons for you.

Finding a legitimate work at home business can seem daunting but they are out there. Look for companies who have the above qualities and be realistic in what you are looking for in a legitimate work at home opportunity. Work From Home Industry In A Recession?

Let’s take our heads out of the sands and admit that times are tough. Though many people are feeling their wallets shrink, there are a number of people who are less affected by a weak economy. Among them are people who work from home.

Now, not everyone who works from home is going to come out of it wealthy, but there are those who will improve their financial situation.

Right now is actually the perfect time to work at home as it is the current trend. More companies are setting up telecommuting programs for their employees as an effective method to cut overhead expenses. Not only that but, unstable economic conditions encourage people to set up full or part-time home-based businesses.

Although there are financial benefits to working at home such the costs saved on buying expensive work clothes, saving on gas (which is through the roof), and tax benefits, working from home in itself won’t get you closer to wealth. You have to be smart about the way you do it.

Many people when they look for a self-employment opportunity approach it with the same attitude and standards as working outside the home. That is - they search for linear working relationships. The problem with linear income is there is a limit on what you can earn.

A classic example of a work at home linear income job is, you sell something to one person, get paid and then look for another person to sell to. By doing this you are putting yourself in the same economic trap that you were originally trying to free yourself from.

Very few people can obtain wealth with a linear income especially if you work from home. Even if you do make a lot of money you have to work longer hours, take on extra responsibility and be prepared for financial liability.

Instead of looking for opportunities where you are paid once for a task you do look for work at home opportunities that allow you to build residual or passive income. In other words find opportunities that pay for a task you did.

Smart people, wealthy people, people who are rarely affected by a weak economy look for opportunities that will generate a recurring, long term income, while they sleep, while they are on vacation even when they retire.

These types of work at home jobs do not build themselves overnight. They take some initial effort to set up but require little maintenance after.

Affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to earn passive income and work at home. When looking for affiliate programs look for those that pay lifetime commissions. Royalties are also a great way to earn recurring income. If writing is a skill of yours there are many websites that pay royalties for your articles.

The financial situation for many is looking bleak. But you can turn it around if you work at home. Because you are making more money and are saving money, your financial situation will greatly improve. Just remember when you are looking for home based opportunities look for those where you work once and get paid over and over again.

Where to start with Home Business Affiliate Opportunities

When one ventures onto the internet to look for a work from home opportunity you get an incredible burst of excitement, this is then quickly followed by an overwhelming sense of confusion. There are so many affiliate programs out there, all of which promise to deliver you financial freedom. But deciding which home business affiliate programs to join can be a frustrating process if you don’t know what to look for. As you do your research, look for the following elements.

The cost to join
Ideally you want to join an affiliate program with no start up costs, and since there are so many free to join home business affiliate programs out there you will want to think heavily about signing up for a program that asks for an up front fee.

Payment schedule
You will need to know when you will receive your commission checks. Are you paid weekly, biweekly, quarterly? Or is your payment on hold until you have made a number of sales or received a number of hits? Choose to work with a home business affiliate program that meets your payment needs.

Look for the hit per sale ratio
This is the average number of hits to a banner or text link it takes to generate a sale based on all affiliate statistics. This is an important factor to consider because this will tell you how much traffic you must generate before you can earn a commission from the sale.

Sales tracking
The affiliate program you choose to work with should have a tracking script. This is the only way you will get rewarded for the sale. You also need to know how long the tracking stays. If, for example, the visitor makes a purchase 3 months after they followed the link from your site to the merchant’s then you deserve credit for that sale. Because first time buyers are rare the longer the tracking the better it is for you.

Affiliate states
Because you need to be able to monitor your progress, the program you choose should be able to provide detailed stats that are available at anytime. Your stats should entail the number of hits generated from your site along with the number of sales.

Are hits and impressions rewarded?
Some affiliate programs that offer low sales compensate its affiliates by adding hits and impressions to their commission. Impressions are the number of times the banner or text link was viewed by a visitor of your site. A hit is the one clicking on the banner or text links. It is important that impressions and hits are also paid if the program offers low sales.

Find out who the merchant is
It’s important to know who you are doing business with immediately. In order to build your affiliate business on a solid foundation you need to know if you are working with someone who has built a solid business. What products are they selling and what is the average amount achieved by each product. What are others saying about the merchant? The more information you have on the merchant the better.

Is the program one tier or two
A single tier program pays you only for the business you yourself have generated. A two tier program pays you for the sales you generate, plus it also pays you a commission on the sales generated by any affiliate you sponsor in your program. Some two-tier programs are even paying small fees on each new affiliate you sponsor.

Commission amount
It’s important to find out how much you are going to earn for each sale. Does the home business affiliate program offer high commissions in the 20-65% range or are they lower? Ideally you want to earn a good commission base for your efforts. However, do not get sucked in by the promise of high commissions without checking out the site for the rest of the other necessary information.

The 10 Common Reasons Why Most Home Business Opportunities Will Fail

The one fact that most people do not realize about starting a business opportunity is that around 90% of all businesses started will fail or go out of business within their third year. Some business will never make it past the winter depending on their product or service. This is just fact. This statistic is not secluded to traditional, international, home-based, or any other type of business opportunity individually. It includes them all. Let’s run through the 10 most common causes of failure in a business opportunity.

1. Under capitalized – Starting and operating business costs money. If you run across a business opportunity that has a no cost start-up and no operating expenses……run! Without sufficient capitol to keep your business going, until it is profitable, it will sink. No doe, no show.

2. Lack of a System – Most new business owners, of course, have very little knowledge about running a business and have no mentor, or go-to man. They are left alone to succeed which can be very difficult without the lack of experience. This is probably the reason why most self-made millionaires attempted and failed and several businesses before they were a success.

3. No Mentor – This goes hand in hand with the lack of a system. In business it is everyone for themselves. Business is a cutthroat operation. The strong survive and the weak die. To go and ask the donut shop around the corner how he made his store successful is compared to presidential candidates asking each other their campaign secrets and techniques. You might as well ask him to turn over to you a portion of his bank account.

4. Poor Vision – Poor vision starts from the moment you came up with your business theory or idea. Would it work? What product or service do you offer? What is the supply and demand? Is this the right timing for this business opportunity and is this the right market for it? Will my products or services hold their value and be of use long term? A lot goes into a business and failure to look forward into the future could be disastrous.

5. Location, Location, Location – This part is self-explanatory. In a traditional retail business, location is everything. You may have the best home business opportunity in the world but without the location, you are going to fail in retail. Other business opportunities don’t need location to be successful. When depending on the public for your profit, this is vital.

6. Poor Marketing – Every business opportunity will require some form of marketing to create business and to be successful. People don’t know you are selling guns unless you have a sign up or tell them you are selling guns. A poor marketing campaign will drown you quicker than any other reason for failure.

7. Lack of Ambition – It takes a pretty ambitious person to start a business opportunity. Without ambition, you are like a car without any gasoline, dead! There has to be some fuel behind the idea.

8. No Personal Development – If you think that anyone has been successful in any business opportunity without working on themselves personally, you are ignorant. This is vital. Knowledge, self improvement, positive thinking, creates excitement and motivation.

9. Poor Planning – In order to build a home, you must have everything drawn up on paper, measured out on the plot of land, and financed before you even begin. Failure to have a successful business plan, step by step along the way, will result in confusion and frustration. This is tied directly to vision. See it before you build it.

10. Bad Product of Service – You know, I believe that a good salesman could sell ice to an Eskimo or camels to the Middle East, but if you have a product that people don’t need or want, you are up the creek without a paddle. Supply and demand with a good, well priced product comes from research. Resort communities need hotels. Lakeside communities need boats and fishing supplies. Find a need and you will have a product.

Top 8 Factors That Define A Good Affiliate Program

Affiliate programs are a popular way to earn money online. But do you know what to search for in an affiliate program? It is important that you know what constitutes the best affiliate program before you sign up with any program.

8 Key factors that define a good affiliate programs are as follows:

1. Reputable and high quality products, services or business opportunities. If you join up an affiliate program that does not have a good reputation, you will be wasting your money and time, and your online reputation will also be affected. An affiliate program with high reputation will also enable you to succeed because it will be easy for you to make sales.

2. Good references and stability. The internet is full of scams. You will therefore need to join an affiliate program that has some good reviews and references; and the company must be stable and financially sound. If you do not research this, you risk joining an affiliate program which is a scam.

3. Pays high commissions. Various affiliate programs offer a wide range of commissions. You will need to look for an affiliate program where your earnings are high. The affiliate program’s commission structure is therefore very important, and you need to be fully informed about the potential commissions you can earn for each sale before you join any affiliate program or home based business opportunity.

4. Residual income opportunity. The best affiliate program is one for which you are rewarded several times over, just from a single sale. For example, if you make a sale today, some affiliate programs will reward you if that customer makes another purchase in the future, or if they refer someone who will make a purchase. This will simply increase your earnings in the long run.

5. Reliability of payment. Research on how reliable the affiliate program is at paying its affiliates. When you are in business, you will have some ongoing costs, such as marketing your business, and driving traffic to your affiliate website. You will therefore need to have constant payments to help you with the cash flow. Equally important is how frequent the program pays its affiliates. You would not want to wait months before you get paid.

6. Availability of support and marketing tools to affiliates. You will need all the support and tools you can get in order for you to make sales and earn some commission. Some affiliate programs are good than others in terms of proving this support. Do your research and find an affiliate programs that offer support and tools which will make your job easier.

7. A program that suits your interests or match your online business. It is important for you to choose an affiliate program that has products or services that are of interest to you, so that you will enjoy marketing them. If you already have an online business and a website; you will need to choose an affiliate program that matches or complements what you already sell on your website. Your affiliate business is a long term commitment, so you will need to make the right choice so that you sign up with a program that has products that you will enjoy marketing.

8. An affiliate program that is still growing and has a huge potential market. You must avoid signing up with a program that is not popular or is declining in its reputation. While it is important to choose an affiliate program that has been in existence for a while and is stable, avoid joining a program that has exhausted its market growth potential or is simply losing its attractiveness. You want to sign up with a program that is in high demand and will be easy for you to sell.

By using the guideline presented above, you will be able to pick an affiliate program that pays you well and on time. You will also join an affiliate program with easy-to-sell products that have high reputation and are in demand; and you will get the necessary support to make it easy for you to make sales.

As an affiliate, you will want to see your commission checks increasing gradually over time; and the above factors will make this possible for you, if you select the right affiliate programs.

Mentally Preparing Yourself For Business

The facts on home business mentioned here have a consequential impact on your understanding on home business. This is because these facts are the basic and important points about home business.

People say that starting your own business is difficult. Guess what? They’re not kidding. Starting a business, in many ways, is a lot like having a child – and would you just have a child without thinking it through first? Before you get started, there are lots of things you need to think about and discuss with anyone you can.

Can You Afford to Fail?

You might have heard the old saying ‘only gamble what you can afford to lose’. Well, however you approach it, starting your own business is still gambling. A massive percentage of businesses fail in their first year. If your financial situation is such that you agonise over every small amount you spend, starting a business is probably a bad idea.

Put it this way: do not expect to succeed. Expect that you will fail, and always try your hardest not to. You’ll be pleasantly surprised if things go your way. Note that this doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t believe in yourself and your business – simply that you have to realise the kind of odds you’re up against, and stay realistic.

Will You Stick at It?

Whenever one reads any reading matter, it is vital that the person enjoys reading it. One should grasp the meaning of the matter, only then can it be considered that the reading is complete.

You can’t get halfway through all this and have a sudden change of heart, or feel like you’re doomed to fail. All successful business spend plenty of time doing badly before they start to pick up. You need to prepare yourself for a steady stream of failure being slowly replaced by success. Don’t expect the world all at once.

We have omitted irrelevant information from this composition on home business as we though that unnecessary information may make the reader bored of reading the composition.

Could You Take the Stress?

Starting a business is one of the most stressful things you can do. It will affect you mentally, physically and emotionally. You need to be strong to deal with this kind of stress, and you need to have someone to turn to for support.

We have avoided adding flimsy points on home business, as we find that the addition of such points have no effect on home business.

Are You a Survivor?

There are some people who always seem to make it in the end, regardless of what life throws at them. You need to be the kind of person whose response to things going wrong is to work harder and get it fixed, not someone who cries and goes into hiding.

Many entrepreneurs say that this, more than anything, is the secret of success. You need to be a ‘never say die’ kind of person. You need to be always ready to try again, no matter what gets thrown at you. Remember that it’s not when things start to go wrong that you fail – you haven’t failed until you’ve given up.

Be Prepared to Work Hard.

If you’ve been doing a standard nine-to-five job, you’re probably used to a world where it’s someone else’s responsibility if the work doesn’t get done – you work as fast as you can for the hours you’re told to, and if it’s not done on time then it’s the manager’s fault for not hiring enough people. When you work on your own, though, there’s no-one to blame – the buck stops where it starts, with you.

You Need to Satisfy Every Customer.

Every cloud has a silver lining; so consider that this article on home business to be the silver lining to the clouds of articles on home business. It is this article that will add more spice to the meaning of home business.

When you run a home business, you can’t afford to lose any customers. You need to always be nice to them, trying to meet their needs. You have to remember that you’re the most senior person they can talk to in this organisation, and you have to act like it – when there’s no-one other than you to handle complaints, you have to either give in to customers at every opportunity or watch them take their business elsewhere.

Do You Really Love What You Do?

If you don’t love what you do, then sooner or later you’re going to want to stop doing it – and when you run a home business, that’s difficult. Besides, you can’t run a home business if you’re always sitting and thinking about how great it’ll be when it’s the weekend. No, the only way to succeed in home business is to be absolutely sure that you really love what you’re doing. If you can think of another job you’d rather have, then you’re in trouble.

Think of it this way: could you run up to someone on the street with a leaflet about your business, and tell them all about it in a way that would really leave an impression? It doesn’t matter whether you actually could or not – if you think everyone will be interested, then, believe me, they will be.

This article has been written with as much information on home business as possible. If I think of anything more to write on home business, another article will be on its way!

Why Start a Home Business?

Working from home is a dream for many – but actually going ahead and starting a home business is very difficult. So what makes so many people want to do it, and why would you ever try such a crazy thing? Here are some common reasons, and some things to consider.

You Can Build Your Great Idea.

Slang is one thing that has not been included in this composition on home business. It is because slang only induces bad English, and loses the value of English.

It would be hopeless trying to get people who are not interested in knowing more about home business to read articles pertaining to it. Only people interested in home business will enjoy this article.

It suddenly hit you like a bolt of lightning: you’ve thought of a great business idea. This is perhaps the number one reason that people go into business from home: they’ve come up with something great that they really believe in, but can’t afford to rent any business premises. It does depend on what the business is, but working from home is often ideal in these situations.

Getting information on specific topics can be quite irritating for some. This is the reason this article was written with as much matter pertaining to home business as possible. This is the way we aim to help others in learning about home business.

Remember, though, that even the best ideas take hard work to become a reality. The kind of ideas that are good for a home-based business are ones that can become at least partly real quickly, and start bringing in an income – you shouldn’t sit at home for a year working on something that’s making you nothing whatsoever.

You Can Make Your Hobby a Job.

Patience was exercised in this article on home business. Without patience, it would not have been possible to write extensively on home business.

Most people have something that they’re really passionate about, and would spend the rest of their life doing if they could, just for the enjoyment of it. Getting paid for doing what you love is obviously appealing – even if you only earn a living wage, it’d be your idea of paradise.

Make sure, though, that you’d be able to take it if you had to make a living from your passion. It’s the things we’re closest to that hurt us the most – think of how you might feel if no-one buys what you’ve made, or if they send it back and with a note saying “what rubbish, I demand a refund!” Can you cope with your hobby becoming commercial?

You’re Tired of Your Boss.

It seems like everyone hates their boss. They try to pretend like they’re your friend, but they’re not fooling anyone, are they? You’re forced to work to pointless deadlines and targets. Anytime you spot a better way of doing something you’re
told that it’s impractical, or, worse, that it’s great but the stupid way of doing things is already ‘established’ and ‘policy’.

What you might not realise is that ‘being your own boss’ requires quite a lot of willpower. If there was no-one to make you get up in the morning and do any work, would you? Your home is supposed to be a place of rest and entertainment – and when it’s full of the equipment and temptation to do anything but work, working there can be hard.

You Want to Spend More Time with Your Family.

You feel like all you do is go to work, come home, and then sit around, too tired to do anything fun with your family. If you have children, they seem to be growing up so fast, and you’re missing it all – all because you have to go out and work.

Of course, the flipside here is that you might just end up spending too much time with your family, while you’re trying to work. When everyone knows you’ll be in the house all day, they’ll probably ask you to do all sorts of unimportant things, just because you’re available. It’s hard to say no, and before you know it, you’re doing the job of a full-time ‘housewife’ instead of what you set out to do.

You Don’t Like Wasting Time and Money Commuting.

After all, once you get to the office, what is there anyway? Offices are dreary environments, and terrible to work in – travelling for hours there and back and spending a significant proportion of your wages to do it seems completely pointless (especially if you live in the middle of nowhere). If you could work from home, think of the time you’d save… and time is money, isn’t it?

Don’t be surprised, however, if you start to feel trapped in your home, since you never leave it. Can you find good ways to get away from it all?

We have taken the privilege of proclaiming this article to be a very informative and interesting article on home business. We now give you the liberty to proclaim it too.

Thinking of what to do upon reading this article on home business? Well you can very well use the information constructively by imparting it to others.

But Don’t Be Put Off.

While the list of warnings for working at home might look long, a list of warnings about working in an office would surely be longer. As long as you stay on your guard, you can get all the benefits of working from home without falling into any of the traps.

This article on #home business was written keeping all readers’ perspectives in mind. Hope your perspectives were covered in this article too! Check out this week’s featured opportunity in Ambit Energy.

Work From Home Business Balance Tips

When you work from home, you will find there are many benefits. However, you will also find that it is exceptionally hard to separate your work life from family life simply because there is no time separation. You need to clarify a few things up front and develop some sort of balance and distinction between your business, home, and time. Since you work from home, your workspace and home space are intertwined. And, as a result, you will find that sometimes work interferes with family life simply because you cannot get away. The same thing goes for family life that interferes with work because the two really are intermingled. It can be especially hard to work from home because of the difficulties that arise. However, if you are dedicated to working from home then you can make it work.

Tip #1 Separating Work and Family

The hardest thing to do is separate family and work. When you work from home, it is obvious these two parts of your life will be more intertwined. However, they do not have to negatively affect one another. Because of this, you must have set work hours and set family hours. If you always have family dinner at seven then everyone knows not to interrupt your work until that time. Creating a schedule gives your family the time and security they need as well as allows you to devote the energy to your job that is required and still get ahead. No matter what you do figure out a schedule and make yourself stick to it. You may find it difficult at first, especially when you know a potential client may be on the other end of the ringing phone. But, you will find that your family is important and deserves your time, too. This will help you get started on the right track for any work from home business opportunity.

Tip#2 Days Off

Most people who work from home never have any days off. Sure, the idea of working from home sounds great and you might think you would have more days off as a result of working from home. The truth of the matter is, however, that you do not ever get away from work so you always work on every day, even holidays or weekends. This can be really annoying for family and friends so determine some days that you can take off. Not only will it do you good to have some free days, but you will be able to balance your friends and family better, too.

Tip #3 Work Space

When you work from home, you may find your work taking over your house. You may work in the kitchen one day and the living room the next. Then, you will find something to do in the dining room and before you know it, the entire house has become your workspace. Do not allow this to happen. Instead, find one area that will best serve as your workspace and use it only for work.

These tips will prove very helpful to you when you work from home. Begin implementing them now and you will see that it is easy to work from home when you create some ground rules to follow.
